Trouble
Flinching as Ulric’s laugh comes to a sudden stop, Mason tried pressing his head back further up the wall. With that sharp grin and dark brown eyes does have Mason fidgeting nervously, but he tried not to show it under the glare he’s giving Ulric.
Clenching his teeth together, he let out a low growl and tried shoving Ulric out of the way with a kick of his boot. Although with Ulric’s hands pinning him, it was a little difficult. “What, more of you blue freaks running around this fuckin’ place? Know what, Mir belongs here, she’s fuckin’ crazy anyway…treats that fuckin’ bike of hers like it’s some damn kid…hell, she still sleeps with that goddamn teddy bear!”
When Mason stopped yelling, he arched a brow with a cocky grin. “Just gotta ask this, though, man…she still tight, or what?”
Shuffling his leg backward, Ulric finally lets go and steps away, letting Mason fall back to the ground. “I’d be a little more careful who you call a freak. Might not look human, but at least I don’t treat people like the shit I am.”
He scowls, not answering the other questions. Nothing of those were any of his business, in his mind.
Sucking in a sharp breath as his body hit the ground, Mason threw his head back to rest against the wall. Hissing through his teeth, he took out another cigarette from the pack in his pocket along with his lighter. Flicking the flame to the cigarette, he breathed in, exhaling a cloud of smoke as he spoke.
“You saying something there, bluefreak?” Wobbling around, Mason tried to stand up but stopped when he yelped at the sudden pain in his back. He staggered around until he fell on the ground again, hitting the dumpster. “Fuck…!” He growled under his breath.
Ulric can’t help himself; he actually smiles when Mason loses his balance and nudges the man’s leg with one boot. “I don’t know, did you hear me say something?”
He leans over, hands on his slim hips and not caring how it looks. “Hope your back feels real good right now; maybe you’ll think twice before you do that to anyone else.”
“Fuck you.” Mason mumbles as his cheek was pressed to the dirty sidewalk beside the dumpster. “Least I know what it feels like now, means I’ll do it twice as hard next time.” He grins almost devilishly at Ulric.
Placing a palm the the ground, Mason tried propping himself up with a shaky arm. ” ‘n by next time, I mean you, fucker.” Slamming his fist against the side of the dumpster, Mason rolled himself back up and leaned his bruised back against the wall.
